DANCES MADE TO ORDER PRESENTS: THE NEW ORLEANS EDITION
Dances Made to Order announces the artists in the New Orleans edition curated by choreographer and filmmaker, Diogo De Lima.
Dances Made to Order is an online, dance film festival. Every month, Dances Made to Order features three talented artists who each rise to the challenge to create five-minute dance films in two weeks inspired by ideas suggested by the web-audience. Dances Made to Order partners with local artists and arts organizations in 11 different U.S. cities who in turn each select three artists to highlight their city’s unique dance culture.Now in the tenth month of the 2012 season Diogo De Lima, Donna Crump and John Allen will create dance films for the New Orleans Edition.
Dance enthusiasts may vote on the ideas that will inspire the artists’ work from September 19 through September 27 at midnight.
The New Orleans edition films will premiere exclusively on the Dances Made to Order site on October 17, 2012.

A 2012 season pass is available for only $50 and includes access to all films from January through November 2012. A single, monthly ticket is also available for $10 and includes 3 films.
Artists receive 65% of the ticket revenue to help support their work.
