Geoffrey Ehrlich made his debut in the film and television industry as co-founder of GK1 Productions, a music video and dance film production company, creating the dance films “The Missing Rooms,” “Cocoon” and “Meathook.” His resume includes film production design, art department coordinating and costume design. He has worked on such critically acclaimed shows as Mad Men, Gossip Girl and currently works on The Big C. Additionally, he works as creative director of events for the nonprofit Sewing Hope. Geoffrey was raised in Virginia where he attended James Madison University and was awarded a BA in Theatre and Dance. He currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.
Kelly Bartnik is a New York based choreographer, performer and teacher. She has danced with Melissa Briggs Dance, the WrightNow! Performance Xperience, Carl Hancock Rux, Katherine Longstreth and Cora Dance. Her own work has been presented at multiple venues in New York. She was a guest professor at Sarah Lawrence College and co-director of BAXCo, the resident teen repertory dance company at the Brooklyn Arts Exchange. She is one of three founding members of GK1 Productions, a video production company specializing in dance films. She is currently performing with and an original cast of the NY production of Sleep No More, co-produced by Emursive and London-based company Punchdrunk.
Geoffrey and Kelly created reins for the New York edition, curated by Zach Morris of the Dance Film Association’s dance film lab. reins has been accepted to the Glovebox film festival where it received a high score award from the judges and has also been selected for the 2012 Sans Souci dance film festival.
