Marissa is a dancer/choreographer/filmmaker. She is a high school graduate of New World School of the Arts ; and received her BFA in Dance Performance from the University of South Florida. In 2007, she moved to California and worked as a freelance dancer under MSA Agency, while becoming active with LA Delancy St Foundation, and volunteered as a movement therapist. She has danced in Rock of Ages; for Rosie Herrera Dance Theatre; & TEDx. Her dance on films have been showcased at O Cinema, Inkub8, Thought Loom, & the 6th street Container. She has been funded by Miami Dade Cultural Affairs, Miami Light Project, and recently became the Artistic Director of Miami’s first Dance on Film festival, supported by TigerTail Productions.
