Sarah Dahnke is a performer, choreographer and multimedia artist. Her work has been performed at New York spaces such as Dance Theater Workshop, CPR-Center for Performance Research, DUO Multicultural Arts Center, Galapagos, The Figment Festival, Grace Exhibition Space and 319 Scholes and produced by Movement Research, Dance nOw NYC and Arts in Bushwick. She is a former artist-in-residence at CAVE in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. A life-long performer, Sarah has performed and toured professionally with companies such as Chicago Tap Theater, The Next Stage Project, Undertoe Dance Project and Suite 132 Dance Company and performed with bands The Polyphonic Spree and Jigsaw Soul. She received her degree in dance performance from Oklahoma City University and a masters degree from ITP in the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
Sarah created “Violets Are Blue” for the November 2011 edition of Dances Made to Order.
